Some Weight Loss Drinks

1. Apple cider vinegar for weight loss

The apple cider vinegar is a very popular drink for weight loss. Apple cider vinegar is a drink that is processed in such a way as to become a health drink that can help you lose weight.

This drink is made by chopping apples and mixing with yeast for fermentation. This will convert the sugar into alcohol. Then in the next stage, good bacteria are added to ferment the alcohol and turn it into acetic acid.

A study was conducted on 144 people who were obese, they were told to consume apple cider vinegar as much as 1 to 2 tablespoons every day and this lasted for 12 weeks. There was one more control group who had to consume a placebo drink. At the end of the study, participants who consumed 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar experienced a weight loss of up to 1.1 kg. Meanwhile, those who consumed 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar lost 1.81kg in weight.

In apple cider vinegar, the main ingredient is acetic acid which plays a role in weight loss. Acetic acid will increase the body’s metabolism, and this drink will balance blood sugar levels. So you will have better control over your cravings and therefore consume fewer calories.

How to consume apple cider vinegar for weight loss is very easy. Drink one tablespoon of apple cider vinegar every day before breakfast. Remember, don’t consume more than two tablespoons per day. Before drinking apple cider vinegar, you must first mix it with a cup of water, this is to alleviate the high acidity of apple cider vinegar.

So, what you need to remember is that the best time to drink apple cider vinegar is before eating. This will prevent you from overeating and this is very good for your health.

2. Green tea as a drink for weight loss

Green tea is another type of beverage that is great for weight loss. The green tea drinks are very well known, even throughout the world are known as drinks that can benefit from weight loss. This drink is famous for its antioxidant content, it is good enough for health not only to lose weight but also good for various other health problems.

One of the functions of green tea is to increase the body’s metabolism. So, the body becomes more efficient and maximal in converting food and drinks into energy.

Why is green tea so valuable? Green tea consists of two main ingredients. First: catechins (antioxidants) and, second: caffeine. These two types of compounds can increase the amount of energy used by the body. Even catechins which are known as antioxidants act as breakdown of fat molecules. Research on the effectiveness of green tea for weight loss is very much being done. There are about 14 studies supporting the power of green tea in weight loss. Those who drank green tea for 12 weeks experienced a weight loss of about 0.2 to 3.5 kg. This is a great achievement for those of you who want to lose weight to a normal size.

This is also because green tea drinks contain diuretic properties. Green tea helps with fluid retention. If we drink green tea every day, there will be massive fat burning and this leads to weight loss.

If you have green tea that is sold freely in the market, you may be confused by the many varieties of green tea. It is best for regular green tea. You should also know that the green tea you choose is a bit of a process. This is important for us to pay attention to so that the nutrition of green tea is maintained. If you have gone through the manufacturing process several times, usually the nutrients will decrease.

Making green tea at home must also pay attention to the procedures. If you boil water for a very long duration, it can damage the catechins and is less effective for health. Bring the water to a boil and let stand for 10 minutes to reduce the heat level of the water, then add the green tea leaves, steep for a while, and strain the leaves. Now you can enjoy green tea as a weight loss drink.
