  • 1 ounce of Palo Azul Bark
  • 6 cups of water

Instructions

  1. Bring 6 cups of water to a boil
  2. Add 1 ounce of palo azul wood chips and simmer for 1 hour
  3. Remove from fire and strain Azul’s bark, it should float on water
  4. Now you can drink Azul tea either warm or cold. If you want to drink it cold, then let it sit at room temperature for a few hours

Notes

The color of this tea will change as you cook it. The color changes from brown, to red and then to blue. If you want the tea to be bluer in color, you can cook it for half an hour.

The blue color of Azul tea is light refraction, if you want it to appear bluer then pour it in a bottle. Illuminate with a lamp, this will bring out the bluer color of the tea.
