Step by Step Making Dulces Enchilados

How to make it so that it becomes a candy that is spicy, sweet and sour and spicy. Let’s follow step by step in the following guide.

1. Chamoy and Tajin Dulces Enchilados

To make Chamoy & Tajin into Dulces Enchilados, try mixing sugar and chamoy sauce powder. Stir evenly until all the lumps that exist disappear or no longer appear. You can put it in the microwave for 20 seconds to dissolve the lumps. You can also use a whisk to remove lumps. I prefer to do it by shaking rather than putting it in the microwave because with a whisk we don’t have to wait until it cools down.

Then take another bowl, mix the tajin seasoning and sugar. Do this well and perfectly.

Then, in a separate bowl, add the favorite candies that you have chosen earlier. Then drizzle with some of the chamoy mixture until it looks like the candy is well coated.

If you want a little more seasoning, sprinkle the seasoning with a spoon over the candy until you reach the desired thickness.

For a thicker coating, immediately dip the chamoy-coated candy into the starch mixture and beat well. Before shaking it, make sure you cover it well so you don’t spill the mixture.

Then, spoon the candy that is put in the starch mixture, place it on a waxed paper or plate. Before you transfer to a container you should let it dry a little, this is tastier and better.

Do the same with the rest of the candy that you haven’t coated with chamoy and tajin.

Chamoy, Tajin and Lucas Dulces Enchilados

2. Chamoy, Tajin and Lucas Dulces Enchilados

Making Dulces Enchilados with a mixture of Chamoy, Tajin & Lucas is also the same as the instructions in the previous recipe. Mix powdered sugar with chomay sauce. Stir well and knead until the lumps disappear. If you want, you can also microwave for 20 seconds to remove lumps. You can also use a whisk to remove lumps, but using a whisk as we said before, is more practical and doesn’t have to wait for it to cool. If you use the microwave it will be hot and you have to wait for it to cool again.

Then in another bowl, combine the tajin seasoning with the lucas chamoy and the lucas mango powder, mix well and finely. Then, in a separate bowl add the candy you like and drizzle with a little chamoy mixture until the candy looks well coated.

If you want a little spice, sprinkle chamoy with a spoon over your candy until you reach the desired amount.

If you want a thicker, larger layer, the trick is to transfer your candy directly into the chamoy seasoning, and toss the candy in the chamoy seasoning. Take your candy with a spoon and place it on wax paper or a plate. We like it drier so we let it cool for a while. Then just transferred to the container.

Repeat the same way for the rest of the candy

3. Tamarindo Chamoy Dulces Enchilados

This is different from the two types of Dulces Enchilados above. It’s a sticky sweet and sour sauce versus a spicy sour dry coat. So how to make this snack, let’s see below:

Tamarindo Chamoy Dulces Enchilados

  1. Add a quarter cup of chamoy to a non-stick skillet.
  2. Then heat to a boil and reduce heat to a simmer.
  3. While boiling, add 5 Pulparindo Candies that you like.
  4. Then beat until dissolved and this is about 10 minutes or so.
  5. Next add 6 tablespoons of sugar and a quarter cup of starch, mix well.
  6. Then simmer for 3 minutes.
  7. Remove from fire

Allow to cool, once cool, drizzle the sauce over your favorite candy. How much you have to add this sauce on top of the candy is up to you or according to your taste. If you want just a light coating, then apply a little sauce to the candy and coat it all over the candy cane. [source]
