We sometimes can’t tell the difference between skin types, sometimes there’s also skin that is not only oily, sometimes dry and sometimes oily, it’s hard to tell the difference. During the rainy season, this skin is very bad because it is always a hotbed of acne. Every time it turns summer to winter my skin undergoes a change with the appearance of pimples. But this pimple doesn’t last long, it heals soon but what’s annoying is the presence of residual acne or acne scars that don’t disappear.

When it comes to acne scars, this is very stubborn and just as bad as belly fat which is very difficult to lose no matter how many things we try.

I have struggled a lot to get rid of acne scars, I have tried many things, such as tomato juice, turmeric, etc. I have also tried, but the acne scars did not disappear until I finally found one herb, namely green tea, and this is good and useful for removing scars. pimple. One of the important ingredients in green tea is that it is rich in antioxidants, and has anti-inflammatory properties. So, now I decided to replace the facial toner that contains chemicals with a natural toner from homemade green tea. Only by making my own green tea toner (DIY) can I overcome this problem of acne scars.

I use this green tea toner twice a day after washing my face. The first few days you may not notice any changes in your acne scars. However, what happened after applying green tea toner for a week, this started to pay off. My acne scars started really light will start to fade slowly.

Although this result is not 100% yet, it gives me hope and makes me optimistic that by applying it continuously it will give 100% results. These temporary results have really motivated me to continue my struggle with DIY green tea toners. I continued to do this for up to a month and it made me no longer breakouts and my acne scars faded.

Now DIY green tea toner has become a part of my skincare. I no longer use chemical toners and have actually switched to a DIY green tea toner that works slowly but surely to get rid of acne scars.

Why does green tea toner work?

The University of Maryland Medical Center states that green tea is an herb that is rich in a chemical called epigallocatechin gallate (ECGC) chemical. This is one of the strong chemicals called catechins. Acne is caused by inflammation, inflammation that occurs in these pores can cause sores, and when it heals, what is left is a scar. The catechin compounds present in green tea are effective in reducing inflammation in acne and others.

ECGC also contains antibiotics and antioxidants and this is useful for preventing new pimples from forming.
